Who Is Mark?

A San Francisco Bay Area native, Mark is best known as the Sports Director at KTVU. As such he has had the honor of interviewing San Francisco Bay Area sports figures such as Steph Curry, Draymond Green, Barry Bonds, Dwight Clark (‘The Catch”), Steve Young, Dusty Baker, and countless other legends. He has reported on the pulse of bay area sports since 1979.

Mark has been involved as Master of Ceremonies (MC) and sometimes auctioneer with Hands Across the Valley, an annual live auction fundraising event in Napa Valley, over the past 15 years – raising money the Napa Valley Food Bank.
Also, a devoted father of a child with special needs, he is strongly aligned with the Child Mind Institute.

Whereas, most of the proceeds Mark receives from speaking and hosting engagements goes to a special fund he has created to ensure the welfare of his autistic son. When not behind a mic, Mark enjoys the Napa Valley with his wife and son. ..and always keeping an eye on the Bay Area sports scene.
